Should I die, this blog will serve as my son's source of virtual mama.

If I live, I won't have to repeat myself.

#Iwantyouto really use those ears.

If you are anything like me, you’re gonna be a storyteller. You’ll have anecdotes and bon mots out the ass. And you’ll LOVE to share them. What can I say? Advertising has made me a whore for praise.

But I’m working on my listening lately. Sort of by accident, I just seem to find a lot of interesting essays and thoughts about truly listening. My interest in you has turned into another kind of interest in other people.

When I grew up, being nosy was one of the worst things you could be. Don’t ask too many questions. Don’t be all up in people’s business. So I only accepted what people offered.

But I’m working on freeing my curiosity, then sitting still and listening to what a person has to say. I want you to have that ability from the beginning.

This is a link to a nice short essay.

#Iwantyouto know that I'm going to push you. But I always have your back.
